Hello! This week, I wanted to check in with all of you and give an update on myself and my goals for this blog.
Future Direction
The nature of the blog - figuring out how to be a good doctor and what that means - is not changing. However, my schedule is ramping up a bit and, in an effort to keep the quality of these posts at the level I want, I have to step back on frequency. My goal from here on out is to get a meaningful post out to you all every 2 weeks at a minimum (every second Wednesday).
What am I up to?
In addition to “Building Docs” …
As you may or may not know, I’m taking a year off of medical school to pursue research in spinal cord injury. Ultimately, at the end of my medical school training, my main goal is to attain a Physical Medicine and Rehab (PM&R) residency position. Additionally, I recently started coaching again (online) with a company called Kickoff! I’m excited to start helping people reach their health and fitness goals again.
I need YOUR help!
Regarding “Building Docs,” my immediate goal is to grow this to 100 subscribers by the end of the year! At the time of this post, we’re at about 60 subscribers. So how to reach that goal? It all comes down to you! If you love the blog and want to support me in reaching this goal, you can do a few things:

To help grow it, click the “share” button. It is the right-pointing arrow (also located either at the top or bottom of the article) next to the “like” and “comment” buttons. Doing so will prompt an opportunity to copy the weblink, or share the post directly to your Facebook, Twitter, or email.
It’d be a HUGE help if, at the end of reading this article, you shared your favorite article with your team (your mom, your spouse, your dog - whoever).

Love your idea of sharing this blog every other week. PS I still love hearing from you oftener than every other week. HA! I think it gives you more time to gain knowledge and then share that with your followers. I like to hear your enthusism about coaching people online following up with what you did at Pete Miller. All of your knowledge and hard work is coming together with exactly what you studied at Marquette and then as your job with PM. Love that. This is leading you down the path where I think you will make a great fit and bring your expertise to this field. Love You!! Miss You!
